AutoCAD Files

Below are renderings I have completed on AutoCAD in 2014.

CHAIR RENDERINGS

To the left is the famous Womb Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen. It is manufactured by Knoll, Inc. I have drawn the chair in floor plan and elevation view, scaled 1"=1'-0" and 1-1/2"=1'-0", respectively.

To the right is the Egg Chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen, and manufactured by Fritz Hansen. The scales are the same as the Womb chair.

This is an elevation of one wall in a residential kitchen that I recently designed. It is for a hand-rendering project actually, however I find it easier to create the skeleton digitally, then add all of the finishes, textures, and shadows by hand. The appliances are to be stainless steel, and the cabinets are going to be black with stainless steel handles. The backsplash is going to be glossed acrylic in a lime green color, with some cove lighting coming down from the cabinets.

CORNICE SECTION

This cornice rendering is to be at the top of cabinetry. It is approximatemy 4" tall, and 2" wide. The line at the top represents the ceiling, and the lines that jut out to the left is where the cabinetry begins.

This elevation was drawn of Broward Hall, a dormitory on the campus of Florida State University. It was constructed in 1917, and was available for use in 1918 for the Florida State College for Women.

To the right is a zoomed in version of the embellishments on the façade.

HOTEL SUITE

To the left is a hotel suite floor plan, the furniture made by using blocks, scaled at 1/4"=1'-0". The elevation overlooks the North bedroom wall, scaled at 1/2"=1'-0"

A Little About Zoe

Zoe grew up in a couple of different Floridian cities, the first of which being Indialantic, a small island community right off of the coast of Melbourne. Most recently (before her four years in Tallahassee), she lived in the Bay Area, and now lives there again after completing her Bachelor's degree. In her free time she enjoys being in nature and spending time with her family. Throughout her life, she has dabbled in many creative endeavors. She has had experience in painting, writing, music production, singing, DJing, acting, modeling, photo editing, photography and now, design. When a designer shapes a space, s/he shapes the experiences of the people within that space. She believes that design is a powerful tool as a marriage of psychology and art, and refining the use of this tool can change and inspire any person who comes into contact with the design. Zoe is determined to change lives by creating the most comfortable and sustainable future possible for the people, for herself, and for the wellness of the world.

Success!
